David Duchovny has confirmed he is married to Monique Pendleberry. The actor revealed the news while discussing his life and career in a new interview with People magazine, ending years of speculation about their relationship status.
Duchovny and Pendleberry were first publicly linked in 2017.This marks duchovny’s second marriage,following his divorce from actress Téa Leoni in 2014 after nearly two decades together. The confirmation arrives eight years after Duchovny stated in 2015 he didn’t anticipate remarrying, telling People, “I don’t think I wont to be married again. I just feel like I’m old!”
The actor shares two children, daughter West and son Kyd, with Leoni.The former couple separated in 2008 and finalized their divorce in 2014. Leoni married Madame Secretary costar Tim Daly in an intimate New York wedding on July 12 of this year.
Despite his previous comments, Duchovny reflected positively on his first marriage, stating in 2015, “My marriage and my family is one of the happiest parts of the history of my life. I would never change it.I don’t understand why people try to rewrite their history.” Details surrounding Duchovny and Pendleberry’s wedding have not been disclosed.
