disco polo Heir Rips “Dancing with the Stars,” Claims Contestants Lack Rhythm
Daniel Martyniuk, son of Polish disco polo star Zenon Martyniuk, has launched a scathing critique of the popular show “Dancing with the Stars,” alleging the contestants demonstrate a essential lack of musicality. Martyniuk leveled the accusations via instagram, sharing a video of a dancer and adding commentary dismissing the program’s legitimacy.
“She’s dancing! ‘Dancing with the Stars’ doesn’t dance,” Martyniuk wrote. ”As if they didn’t have a lantern.” The reference to a “lantern” is not new; Martyniuk recently demanded the return of an unspecified item he refers to as a lantern.
He further claimed the stars “do not dance to the rhythm and beat,” and praised singer Doda for her own criticisms of the show. “It’s not even about rhythm or tact,” Martyniuk stated. He suggested a more appropriate program would be “men… dancing on ice,” featuring unknown participants.
The comments come after a recent incident where Zenon Martyniuk announced his intention to sue an airline for refusing to serve him two beers and a coke, claiming he was “insulted and booed” by fellow Polish passengers. Notably, Polish Television previously aired “Stars Dancing on Ice,” with Doda serving as a judge and engaging in well-publicized conflicts with fellow juror Justyna Steczkowska. Martyniuk has repeatedly stated he would never participate in “Dancing with the Stars.”
