Body Discovered in Tesla Registered to Rising Singer D4vd
Los Angeles police discovered human remains in teh trunk of a Tesla impounded at a Hollywood tow yard on September 8, authorities confirmed to NBC Los Angeles. The vehicle is registered to David Anthony Burke, known professionally as the singer D4vd, according to NBC News.
Law enforcement sources told NBC News the body was decomposed and found wrapped in a bag after the LAPD responded to reports of a foul odor emanating from the vehicle, which had been held at the tow yard for several days.
Police stated the Tesla was initially towed after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills. While the identity of the deceased remains unconfirmed, the car’s registration links it to Burke’s residence in hempstead, texas.
A spokesperson for D4vd released a statement to NBC News, saying the “Romantic Homicide” singer “has been informed about what’s happened, and even though he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities.”
The 20-year-old artist is currently on tour promoting his debut album, withered. He recently performed in Chicago and has upcoming shows scheduled in Minneapolis,Denver,and Seattle before returning to Los Angeles later this month.Authorities have not released further details surrounding the inquiry at this time.
