Yamaha Secures Third Place in Czech Car Sales, Disrupting top 10 Rankings
Prague, Czech Republic – Yamaha has unexpectedly climbed to become the third best-selling car brand in the Czech Republic, marking a notable shift in the automotive market. This resurgence positions Yamaha among the leading manufacturers, challenging established players and signaling evolving consumer preferences.
The Czech automotive market experienced varied performance across vehicle categories in September. While overall car sales saw fluctuations, with tractors accounting for nearly 55 percent of all vehicles sold, Yamaha’s strong showing demonstrates its ability to capture market share.Bus sales declined by a third, totaling 595 vehicles – a 66 percent drop compared to the same period last year, with Iveco Bus leading, followed by Mercedes-Benz. Motorcycle registrations also decreased by four percent, reaching 24,168 units, with Honda maintaining the top spot at 5,416 motorcycles sold, followed by CF Moto S at 2,735, and Yamaha securing third place with 1,886 registrations.
