Cyberpunk 2077 Universe Expands with New Comic Series, “Chrome“
Night city, [Date] – The world of Cyberpunk 2077 is set to expand beyond video games with a new comic series, “Chrome,” from Dark Horse Comics. Announced via Bluesky by Dark Horse Comics, the four-issue limited series will debut in january of next year, with three further editions to follow.
“Chrome” diverges from the established Cyberpunk 2077 narrative formula, leaning into horror elements. The story follows a group of friends – a Netrunner, a Graffiti-Artist, a Rockerboy, and an Autotechie – who stumble upon a haunting motif during a photoshoot at a landfill.
Created by Tommaso Bennato and Doug Wagner, the series is described as the first slasher story set in Night City, incorporating classic horror tropes. Its the 13th limited series connected to the existing Dark Horse Comics publications within the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
