Cristiano Ronaldo Hat-Trick Leads Al Nassr to 5-3 Win Over Al Kholood

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick for Al Nassr in a 5-3 victory over Al Kholood at Al Awwal Park on October 29, 2026.

The Battle at Al Awwal Park

Al Nassr climbed to second place in the Saudi Pro League standings with 28 points following the high-scoring home fixture, Sabq reported. Al Kholood remained in tenth place with 12 points after conceding five goals in Riyadh.

The match saw both sides trade goals during a turbulent first half that ended 2-2. Dominguez opened the scoring for Al Kholood in the 16th minute before Angelo Gabriel equalized for Al Nassr in the 24th minute, according to Sabq’s match report. Sadio Mane added Al Nassr’s second goal in the 38th minute, but Essoumpa leveled the score for Al Kholood just before halftime in the 45+2 minute.

Chasing the Milestone

Yallakora reported that the forward entered the match just shy of 982 career goals, having previously scored his 981st goal against Neftchi Fergana in the AFC Champions League Elite. Early in the Al Kholood match, referee Khaled Al-Turais disallowed two goals scored by Ronaldo during the first half due to offside calls, according to Kooora and Sabq.

Yallakora noted that FIFA recently ruled Ronaldo’s second goal against Al Faisaly as an own goal following a deflection off a defender, while a previous goal against Al Kholood was also chalked off.

Completing the Hat-Trick

In the 66th minute, he collected a pass from Joao Felix to score his first of the night, giving Al Nassr a 3-2 lead, as detailed by Kooora. He followed with a header in the 73rd minute, again assisted by Felix, before converting a pass from Mane in the 81st minute to seal his three goals.

Kooora noted that the performance marked Ronaldo’s first hat-trick in 908 days, following his last three-goal game against Al Wehda on May 4, 2024. The three goals brought his career total to 985, leaving him 15 goals short of the 1,000-goal mark.

Al Kholood reduced the deficit in stoppage time when Dominguez converted a penalty kick in the 90+4 minute, bringing the final score to 5-3, according to Sabq.
