Crescent Hotels & Resorts Adds Historic Westin Great Southern Columbus to ⁢Management Portfolio

COLUMBUS, OH⁢ – Crescent Hotels & Resorts has taken over ⁤management of The Westin Great Southern⁣ Columbus, a landmark hotel in downtown Columbus owned by Whitestone Companies. The move expands Crescent’s footprint in the Columbus market, building on a proven track record of successful hotel operations.

originally constructed in 1897,​ The Westin Great Southern Columbus is a recognized architectural icon centrally located near attractions like the Ohio Statehouse, the Brewery District, ‍and the Scioto Mile. The⁤ hotel boasts 188 guest rooms and suites, over 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and the‌ Italian restaurant Bar Cicchetti.

Crescent’s assumption ‍of ⁣management reflects a strategic alignment with Whitestone Companies’ ownership goals, focused on enhancing both guest experience and maximizing asset performance. The company will leverage its data-driven, performance-focused‌ approach ⁤and ​in-depth‌ understanding of the Columbus hospitality landscape.
