Creative5 and Sateliot to Advance Satellite IoT Field Evaluations at SCEWC 2026

Creative5 and Sateliot to Advance Satellite IoT Field Evaluations at SCEWC 2026

November 3, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Creative5 and Sateliot announced a collaboration to showcase satellite Internet of Things field evaluations at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, according to reports published on November 2, 2026. The initiative pairs Creative5’s HESTIA Plus devices with Sateliot’s 3GPP standards-based narrow-band IoT non-terrestrial network connectivity to assist enterprises testing applications outside traditional cellular coverage areas.

Deployment Focuses on Smart Agriculture and Remote Infrastructure

Initial deployment opportunities focus on smart agriculture, environmental monitoring, water and utility assets, and remote infrastructure. According to the companies, the collaboration provides enterprises with a structured pathway from initial use-case definition to time-bound field trials involving agreed data flows, success metrics, and deployment requirements. Field evaluations are planned according to network and service availability, local regulatory requirements, and project-specific technical readiness.

The hardware component relies on HESTIA Plus devices, which support both terrestrial and satellite connectivity alongside application enablement provided by Creative5. Sateliot contributes the satellite connectivity and onboarding services in supported markets.

Enterprise customers need a clear understanding of how satellite IoT can support their operations beyond terrestrial coverage, said Jennifer Chang, chief marketing officer and general manager of the SATCOM business unit at Creative5. By combining HESTIA Plus with Sateliot’s standards-based connectivity, we aim to help customers evaluate real-world performance and make informed deployment decisions.

Sateliot is building satellite connectivity as a standards-based extension of cellular IoT, said Gianluca Redolfi, chief business officer at Sateliot. Our work with Creative5 gives customers a practical way to evaluate how HESTIA Plus can connect assets beyond conventional coverage and prepare suitable applications for scalable deployment.

Exhibition Details at SCEWC 2026

Creative5 is scheduled to exhibit at the LoRa Alliance Pavilion, located in Hall 3 at Booth B41. The exhibition runs from November 3 to November 5, 2026. During the event, representatives will engage with solution providers and enterprise customers to review device and network integration, discuss pilot scope, and outline field evaluations against agreed performance criteria.

Creative5, founded in Taiwan in 2017, develops HESTIA satellite IoT devices and the CeresHub platform, combining hybrid connectivity with integration services for environmental monitoring, infrastructure, and unmanned aerial vehicle applications. Sateliot, headquartered in Barcelona, develops standards-based low Earth orbit satellite connectivity that extends cellular narrow-band IoT services into areas with limited terrestrial coverage.
