Corning Dominates Team Standings at Newark Valley
Oliver Cilip led the team with an 8:51.1 finish to take first place individually in the modified boys race. Jack Bronfenbrenn followed in third at 9:18.0, and Maddox Adriance took fourth at 9:21.0. Owen Lilly finished sixth in 9:52.6, and Evan Harrington rounded out the scoring five in seventh place with a time of 9:58.0.
Ithaca claimed second place in the team standings with 62 points and a total team time of 51:36. Amadou Chambliss took 11th in 10:12.2, Arthur Lilienthal placed 13th in 10:14.9, Dominik Bartishevi finished 15th in 10:15.4, and Tobias Kennedy secured 29th in 10:44.0 to complete Ithaca’s scoring total.
Elk Lake and Vestal Secure Top Team Positions
Elk Lake finished third in the team rankings with 105 points and a total time of 53:18. Eric Diaz Garcia led Elk Lake with a runner-up individual finish, crossing the line in 8:51.8 just behind Corning’s Cilip.
Vestal took fourth place with 139 points and a 56:20 team time. Liam Gleason-Quil finished 36th in 11:01.3, Macsen Bennet took 49th in 11:28.3, Josef Bynum placed 53rd in 11:35.4, and Nicholas Marcello finished 59th in 11:47.8.
Newark Valley and Binghamton Complete Mid-Pack Finishes
Host school Newark Valley finished fifth in the team standings with 142 points and a total time of 56:20, matching Vestal’s team time. Alexander Kolesnik led Newark Valley by finishing 24th overall in 10:37.5.
Binghamton secured sixth place with 165 points and a team time of 59:43. Elijah Carrier finished 42nd in 11:12.8, Michael Staiger took 74th in 12:14.4, and Matthew Staiger finished 122nd in 15:38.6.
