Eintracht women with a slight start to the Bundesliga
The women from Eintracht Frankfurt receive the SGS Essen at the beginning of the new Bundesliga season. The game takes place on the weekend 6/7/8. September. The German Football Association (DFB) announced the schedule of the 2025/2026 season on Friday. It was previously clear that the opening game on Saturday, September 6th, with the game between the German champion FC Bayern Munich and Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Munich Arena would be held. The kick-off is at 5:45 p.m., the ARD broadcasts the opening game live on free TV. For the first time there will be 26 game days in the highest division of women due to the increase in 14 teams.
The game plan has other attractive encounters to offer on the opening weekend. Werder Bremen welcomes SC Freiburg, the personnel very reinforced FC Union Berlin plays against co -promoters 1. FC Nürnberg. The Hamburger SV meets runner -up VfL Wolfsburg in the Volksparkstadion.

After the 14th matchday (December 19th to 22nd) it goes into the almost four -week winter break, which ends on January 23, 2026. The 26th and last matchday takes place on May 17, 2026. All seven games then rise at the same time.
