The individuals responsible for a fire at the ​New Albany Hobby Lobby on September 27 have turned themselves ⁣in to authorities, according to the Columbus Division of Fire. The fire was contained by the store’s sprinkler system before fire crews arrived,and no injuries were reported.

the Columbus Division of Police initially sought public assistance in identifying a woman seen ⁤on security footage inside the store during ‌the incident,believing she possessed information ⁢relevant to the investigation.⁤ She was described as an older woman with white hair, accompanied by two younger females. While the investigation remains ongoing, the ⁣self-reporting of⁣ the suspects marks a notable progress in the case, potentially leading to a clearer understanding of the fire’s cause and any ⁣associated damages.

Columbus fire crews responded to the reported fire at approximately 6:30 p.m. ‌on September 27. Upon arrival, they‌ found‍ the store already evacuated with the fire extinguished by the sprinkler system, though⁣ heavy smoke permeated the building.

Police released images and footage related to the fire, requesting help from the public to identify the woman.
