COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – A comfortable Wednesday is underway across the Chattahoochee Valley, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s to start the day. Residents can expect mostly sunny conditions this morning, becoming cloudier through the afternoon as a weak weather system approaches.
While northern Georgia may experience isolated showers or storms, areas around Columbus are expected to see only an increase in cloud cover. Tonight will be clear and quite, with lows settling in the mid to upper 60s – ideal for comfortable sleep.
The dry pattern will persist for the remainder of the week, bringing mostly sunny skies and rising temperatures. Highs are forecast to reach the low 90s by the weekend.
Looking ahead, the next prospect for rainfall arrives early next week, with an upper-level disturbance potentially bringing showers and thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday.
