Cognite Chooses Arizona for New Global Headquarters, Fueling Innovation & Job Growth
Phoenix, Arizona – Cognite, a leading industrial AI and data solutions provider, has announced the establishment of its global headquarters in arizona, marking a important investment in the state’s burgeoning technology sector. The move underscores Arizona’s growing prominence as a hub for advanced manufacturing and innovation,particularly in the semiconductor industry.

The expansion is projected to create over 100 new jobs in the Phoenix metropolitan area, spanning roles in artificial intelligence innovation, software engineering, marketing, sales, and general corporate functions. Cognite anticipates leveraging the proximity to Arizona’s universities and established tech network to attract top talent specializing in AI,cloud computing,data science,and industrial engineering. To ensure a seamless transition, several key Cognite leaders have already relocated from Norway to Arizona to oversee operations at the new facility.
Arizona’s emergence as a critical semiconductor manufacturing center, attracting billions in investment from major chipmakers, played a key role in Cognite’s decision.The company’s solutions are designed to help manufacturers manage the massive influx of data generated by modern industrial facilities – billions of data points from thousands of sensors – and unlock significant operational value. Cognite reports identifying hundreds of millions of dollars in value for its customers in the past year alone.
