Christoph Zoister Appointed Head of Marketing & Communications at Transgourmet
Transgourmet, a leading domestic gastronomy wholesaler, has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of christoph Zoister as Head of Marketing & Communications, effective September 1st.
Zoister will oversee the company’s strategy, brand advancement, press relations, and public relations efforts, leading a team of 18 professionals. He brings over a decade of international experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
His career began at Danone austria following his education at Manchester Business School (Bachelor Management & Marketing) and Grenoble Graduate School of Business (Master’s in Marketing Management). At Danone, he was responsible for the Activia brand.He then progressed to Heineken Austria, holding roles as a Senior brand Manager and interim Group Brand Manager, where he managed a premium portfolio and spearheaded prosperous brand relaunches, notably for Zipfer.
From 2019 to 2021, Zoister led the development of a strategic consumer business as Head of Marketing & Communications at S.Spitz / Alpine Brands, overseeing brands including Gastein, Auer, Blaschke, and Honigmayr. This involved restructuring initiatives and driving international expansion into the Middle and Far East markets. He subsequently served as Head of Marketing at Salinen Austria, managing the entirety of their B2B and B2C portfolios – both domestically and internationally – with responsibility for approximately €200 million in sales.
Recently, at the end of 2024, Zoister founded Mark.senze, a consulting firm specializing in strategy, branding, marketing, and innovation.
“I got to know the food & beverage world in all its facets.My career finds an ideal sequel in this position – I can use my know-how and my experience to help shape the trading side significantly,” Zoister stated. He aims to further enhance the brand development of Transgourmet and its sales channels. Additionally, Zoister is a certified systemic coach and will begin lecturing at the Steyr University of Applied Sciences this autumn.
