Christmas at ZooParc de Beauval 2026: Lights, Events and Night Openings
From November 14, 2026, to January 4, 2027, the ZooParc de Beauval will host its winter holiday program featuring evening illuminations, family events, and night openings.
Visitors walking the grounds from the late afternoon onward will encounter festive musical accompaniments alongside illuminated structures. Mascot characters, including a panda wearing a red hat, will roam the paths while children can drop letters into Santa’s mailbox. For aerial views of the illuminated park, visitors can ride the Nuage de Beauval.
An advent calendar running from December 1 through December 24 will offer daily prizes at the North Entrance. By scanning a QR code, visitors can enter to win plush toys, books, treats, animal sponsorships, exclusive encounters, and LabKorner lots.
Family Activities and Evening Nocturnes
The Maison Beauval Nature building will host a treasure hunt featuring mischievous elves alongside a greeting card workshop inspired by the animal kingdom. Visitors can also join guided evening tours titled MonstroZoo to track monsters as darkness falls. For dining, Le Cahuita offers a holiday snack menu featuring waffles, pastries, and hot beverages.
The park will extend its operating hours during the school vacation period. The Nocturnes de Beauval will run from December 19 to December 23, from December 26 to December 30, and on January 2. During these evenings, the park remains open until 22:30, offering a festive buffet at Le Yasuni restaurant and nighttime access to the Dôme Équatorial, illuminations, and MonstroZoo tours.

Winter daylight in December and January runs roughly from 9:00 to 17:00, giving visitors about seven to eight hours of natural light. Because illuminations begin at 16:00, the park advises arriving early for multi-day visits, while setting the final park access for evening visitors at 19:30 during the extended dates.
Attend Storytelling Sessions at Site Accommodations
The ZooParc remains open every day of the year, including holidays, though hours and specific activities may be adjusted on December 24 and December 25.
At the accommodations on site, the Pagodes de Beauval will host storytelling sessions for hotel guests. A dedicated storyteller will share fairy-tale narratives in four daily time slots at 18:00, 18:45, 20:00, and 20:45 on December 19–22, December 26–30, and January 2. The hotels will also feature dedicated Christmas meals and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
