Only remaining administrative details need to be completed before the move is official. While Eriksen was linked to several clubs following his departure from Manchester United, including Bayer Leverkusen – where compatriot Kasper Hjulmand manages - Tips magazine reports Wolfsburg ultimately secured his signature. Eriksen maintained his fitness recently with Malmö FF in Sweden.
His departure from Manchester United stemmed from a lack of future opportunities under manager Rúben Amorim.Eriksen’s free agent status made him an attractive option for clubs even after the transfer window closed.
