As if anyone needs more reason to⁤ dislike Chris Brown, terrible ⁤weekend⁢ traffic is soon to be ‌another.

The Grammy-winning R&B singer, rapper, dancer and actor convicted of assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna has somehow sold 45,000 tickets for a Saturday Alamodome show‌ as part of his Breezy Bowl XX tour.

The event starts⁢ at 7 p.m. with Jhene Aiko and Bryson Tiller opening.

The H-E-B Plaza opens at 3:30 p.m. to hawk ⁢merchandise, food and beverages.⁢ Alamodome doors open at 5 p.m.

As per other large events at ⁤the venue, city officials are ‍recommending‍ that travelers plan ahead and give themselves extra time, whether they’re headed ‍to the concert or not.

Alamodome lots ‍B and C will be open‌ at 2 ‌p.m., with parking spots going for $60 each. That’s in addition to the ‍hundreds spent per concert ticket for the performer who pled guilty to felony ‌assault over his treatment of Rihanna.

But⁢ that incident is far from the only ‌disturbing allegation against Brown.

In 2010, Brown’s application for a visa to enter the UK was rejected on the grounds of him being ⁤guilty of a “serious criminal offense” for the alleged domestic violence, the BBC‍ reports.

The⁣ following‌ year,Brown allegedly ‌punched a window ⁤at Good‍ Morning America after being asked about the incident, according to the ‍New York Daily News.

Brown was also allegedly involved in⁢ a 2012 ‍brawl involving Drake and his entourage,Billboard reports. That⁤ led ⁤to the pair trading diss tracks about the Alien vs.Predator situation, in which one might⁢ be⁤ tempted to⁤ root for both ⁢sides‍ to lose.

Former Spur Tony Parker was ‍even caught up in the fray and had ‌to have ‍a piece of ⁢glass ‍removed from his eye, nearly losing it, Yahoo!‍ Sports reports.

in 2013,Brown ⁢was allegedly involved ⁣in a hit-and-run, according to CNN, even though that case against him was subsequently dropped. Later the same year, he was arrested for felony assault in D.C. over an ⁣incident in which he allegedly⁣ punched a man after refusing to take a picture with him, according to hip-hop ⁢mag XXL.

In 2016,‍ Brown was sued for ⁤battery, assault and false imprisonment by Mike G, the manager he had hired to repair his public image, as reported⁤ by Variety.

In 2018, Brown ⁣was arrested in Florida on a felony battery charge, this time for allegedly punching a photographer, according to CNN.

In 2022,⁤ Brown was sued by a woman who⁢ alleged he drugged and raped her on a yacht owned by sean “Diddy” Combs, ⁤ the BBC reports.

In 2024,‌ a docuseries titled⁣ Chris Brown: A History of Violence detailed the ‍rape allegations against the singer, as reported⁢ by People and CNN at the time.‍

The Los Angeles Times⁢ reports that Brown sued Warner Bros. Discovery in response,‍ seeking $500 million in damages. The ⁣singer’s⁤ attorneys argued that the docuseries is⁤ “full of lies and deception” and that Brown has ‌“grown” ⁤sence the 2009 rihanna incident.

Even so, Brown’s legal troubles ‍have continued into this year. In may, he was arrested in ‍the UK ‌for allegedly smashing a tequila bottle over music producer Abe Diaw’s head, ‍the ⁢ BBC reports.

Brown was later released on‌ £5 million bail ‍ to commence this tour, though he subsequently had to appear in court on charges relating to the alleged bottle attack.

Y’all have fun at that concert, though.

San antonio drivers should brace for notable traffic congestion this weekend as Chris Brown’s concert is expected to draw approximately 45,000 attendees to the AT&T Center. The event, scheduled for Friday, August 16th, will likely ‌cause delays on major roadways surrounding the arena.

The influx of‌ concertgoers ‍will impact traffic flow on Interstate 35,‌ Loop 410, and surrounding surface⁤ streets, ‍especially during peak arrival and departure times. ‌City officials advise motorists ‌to allow extra travel ⁣time and consider alternative ⁢routes. This event follows a recent My Chemical Romance concert in 2022 that also drew large crowds, highlighting the AT&T Center’s capacity to ‌generate substantial traffic volume. ⁢The Chris Brown concert represents another ⁤major event impacting San Antonio’s transportation‌ infrastructure, requiring proactive planning from⁤ both attendees ⁢and commuters.
