Gothenburg, Sweden – August 13, 2025 – The Chilean consulate General in Gothenburg will host the inaugural art exhibition of Chilean artist Pamela Orellana toro, marking the first time the newly renovated consulate will open its doors to showcase national artistic talent. The exhibition opens to the public on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The Consulate General is pleased to welcome Orellana Toro as she prepares to exhibit her work in Sweden. An inauguration will be held with the artist in attendance.
Following a complete renewal in 2024, the Consulate General is now able to support cultural diplomacy by providing a free venue for Chilean artists to display their work internationally. This initiative aims to broaden the reach of Chilean art and culture within the Swedish community.
The exhibition will run from Tuesday, September 2 to Thursday, September 11, 2025, and will be open to the public Monday through friday from 2:15 p.m.to 3:45 p.m.No prior appointment or notification is required for entry during these hours.The exhibition is located in the public service area of the consulate at Kaserntorget 5, 411 floor 18, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Attendance at the opening reception on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. is limited to the first thirty registered individuals. Interested attendees should email [email protected] with “exhibition” in the subject line, specifying the names of up to two attendees. registration will close when capacity is reached. Confirmation of registration, including a registration number, will be sent via email from the consulate.
