israel Galván and Mohamed El Khatib Announce Collaborative Performance Tour
A groundbreaking collaboration between flamenco artist Israel Galván and theater director Mohamed El Khatib, titled “Israel & Mohamed,” is set to embark on a multi-city tour across France and Switzerland in early 2026. the production, described as an “unprecedented encounter between two universes,” promises a rich artistic and human experience.
The tour kicks off on January 8 and 9, 2026, at the City Theater as part of the Fall Festival in Paris. Following this, the performance will be presented at the Agora theater National Scene of Essonne on January 30 and 31. February will see the production at Volcano Le Havre national scene on February 3 and 4, followed by TANDEM National scene in Douai from February 10 to 14. The National Theater of Brittany in Rennes will host the show from February 25 to 28. The tour extends to Switzerland with performances at the geneva comedy from February 25 to 28, before concluding in Nantes at Mixt on May 23 and 24, 2026.
The creative team behind “Israel & Mohamed” includes Fred Hocked for design and game,with scenography also by Hocked.Video design is by Zacharie Dutertre and Emmanuel Manzano, with sound by Pedro León and costumes by Micol Notarianni. Technical direction is a collaboration between Fred Hocké and Pedro León, and construction is handled by Pierre Paillès and Géraldine Bessac.
