Chelsea manager enzo Marisca provided a crucial injury update ahead of saturday’s Premier League clash with Brentford, revealing teh uncertain status of Cole Palmer and a lengthy recovery timeline for liam Dilab. The news comes as Chelsea prepares for a demanding stretch of fixtures.
Marisca confirmed Palmer participated partially in the latest training session, stating his availability for the Brentford match hinges on a final assessment. “Ther is another share that will determine his readiness for the match, and if he was not fine, he would be absent from tomorrow’s meeting,” Marisca explained during a press conference. He also acknowledged the need to carefully manage palmer’s workload upon his return, adding, “When he is ready, we will need to manage it because of the large number of matches.”
A more notable setback involves midfielder Liam Dilab, who is expected to be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks. Marisca also noted Alejandro Garnechu is focused on improving his physical condition with a view to returning to team training soon.
The Chelsea manager also briefly addressed the transfer of Nicolas Jackson to Bayern Munich, stating, “For me, he is a player in Bayern Munich, and I wish him all the best.”
