BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo women’s basketball star Chellia Watson has signed a professional contract with SKK Polina Warszawa, a club based in Warsaw, poland, and a member of the European Women’s Basketball league (EWBL).
Watson concluded her UB career as one of the program’s most decorated players, ranking second in career scoring average (21.7 points per game), third in free throw percentage (.812),fourth in field goals made (588) and attempted (1,359),fifth in total points (1,522),and 12th in three-point field goals made (121).
A two-time First-Team All-Mid-American Conference selection, Watson started all 37 games during her senior season, averaging 20.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. She shot 44% from the field and a team-high 82% from the free throw line,leading the Bulls to a program-record 30 wins and a WNIT Championship. Watson scored in double figures in every game, with 25 performances exceeding 20 points, and earned a spot on the 2025 MAC All-Tournament team.
