August 21, 2026 Emma Walker – News Editor News

For the upcoming Braderie de Lille on September 5 and 6, 2026, SNCF Voyageurs and the Hauts-de-France region are releasing 15,000 discounted TER tickets starting at 3 euros and adding 54 supplemental trains.

SNCF Ticket Release Structure and Pricing Tiers

According to regional coverage by actu.fr and Nord Littoral, an initial batch of 7,500 discounted tickets went on sale Thursday, August 20, 2026, with prices ranging from 3 to 22 euros depending on the departure city. A second tranche of 7,500 tickets will be made available at a later date. Passengers can secure these fares through SNCF Connect, the official TER Hauts-de-France digital portals, or directly at station ticket counters.

In addition to promotional fares, regular regional reduction schemes remain active for the weekend. Holders of Ma Carte TER Hauts-de-France receive a 50 percent discount, alongside a 75 percent discount for up to three accompanying minors aged four to 18. The Young Ticket offers similar half-price reductions for travelers aged four to 18, while the subsidized Billet Coup de pouce provides qualifying applicants with deep discounts for groups.

Expanded Rail Infrastructure and Route Coverage

Service enhancements target key regional hubs connecting directly to Lille-Flandres. Corridors with reinforced schedules include Arras, Béthune, Calais, Douai, Dunkerque, Hazebrouck, Jeumont, Lens, Valenciennes, and Cambrai. Furthermore, late-night departures are scheduled for Saturday evening to accommodate visitors staying late for the traditional regional festivities and local culinary staples.
