OpenAI Offers One Year of ChatGPT Go Free ‌to Indian Users

New Delhi,November 4,2025 – OpenAI today launched a significant offer for its Indian user base: a free one-year subscription⁣ to ChatGPT Go,its premium ‌AI service. ⁣The‌ move comes as the company seeks⁣ to further solidify its presence in India, already its second-largest market for ChatGPT.

Launched‌ in August 2025 as a more affordable premium option priced at⁣ ₹399 per month, ChatGPT Go provides expanded access to OpenAI’s advanced GPT-5 ⁣model. Now,all ChatGPT users in India are eligible for the complimentary one-year subscription,with existing Go subscribers automatically upgraded.

How to Claim the Free Subscription:

Users can access the free ChatGPT Go subscription by logging into the ChatGPT⁣ website or app. A pop-up notification prompting an upgrade to ChatGPT Go for free may appear upon login. if the pop-up doesn’t appear, users can navigate to the ‘My Profile’ ⁣section and select ‘upgrade’. The upgrade page will reflect​ the free availability of the ⁤ChatGPT Go plan.

While the subscription is free for the year, users will be required to provide their payment details during the activation process.
