Trump to Address Thousands at Commemorative Service for Charlie Kirk in Arizona Amid Heightened Security
GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Former President Donald Trump and a host of senior officials, Republican leaders, and influential political figures are gathering in Glendale, Arizona, today to honor Charlie Kirk. the commemorative service, held at the State farm Stadium, is anticipated to draw tens of thousands of attendees and has triggered a massive security operation lead by the Secret Service and coordinated with state, local, and federal partners.
The event takes on added significance given the backdrop of political violence, prompting authorities to implement the highest level of security designation available – a SEAR-1 classification, previously reserved for major events like the Super bowl and the Kentucky Derby. This designation allows for the full mobilization of federal resources to support local authorities in ensuring a safe and secure event.
“Our teams are already in Phoenix and Glendale, working together with state, local and federal partners. Together we are fully committed to ensuring that these solemn events receive the comprehensive protection and support they require,” stated william Mack,a special agent in charge of the Phoenix field office.
A senior official from the National Security Department explained that the SEAR-1 designation “is reserved for events of the utmost national importance and enables the federal government to provide the entire range of security and application resources necessary to support local authorities in the guarantee of a safe and successful event.”
