Charleston Southern Women’s Soccer Unveils 2025 Schedule
CHARLESTON, S.C. – charleston Southern Women’s Soccer announced its 2025 fall schedule Tuesday afternoon. The seventeen-game slate includes a trip to the Northeast, featuring two opponents the program has never faced before.
The Buccaneers begin the season with exhibition matches against Coastal Carolina on Saturday, August 2, at CSU Soccer Field, and Western Carolina on Tuesday, August 5. The official season kicks off with a road trip north.
Charleston Southern’s 2025 opener is against Syracuse on Thursday, August 14, followed by St. Bonaventure on Sunday, August 17. They will then face Furman on Sunday, August 24, before their home opener against Davidson on Sunday, August 31. The Bucs also host Vermont on September 4 and The Citadel on September 11, while traveling to Spartanburg to face Wofford on September 7, prior to entering Big South play.
Conference play begins with a road trip to UNC Asheville on Saturday, September 20. The conference schedule also includes home games against Winthrop on September 24 and High Point on October 4,with an away game at USC Upstate on October 1.
Charleston Southern will play two nonconference games in October during league open dates: South Carolina State on October 8 and USC Aiken on October 15. The latter half of the conference schedule features road games at Gardner-Webb on October 11 and Radford on October 25, along with home games against Longwood on October 18 and Presbyterian on October 29.
The 2025 big South Women’s soccer Championships will include the top six teams from the regular season. First-round games will be held at campus sites from November 1-2. The semifinals and finals are scheduled for November 6 and 9 at the Matthews Sportsplex, with the tournament winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
