Chained Together Movie Adaptation: Indie Game Gets Hollywood Treatment

“Chained Together” Video Game to be Adapted into a Film

LOS ANGELES, CA ⁣- November 19, 2025 – Teh⁢ breakout indie cooperative game Chained ⁤Together, known for it’s uniquely frustrating and rewarding gameplay, is being adapted into a feature film. ​News of‍ the project was first reported by Deadline.

Released⁤ on Steam on June 19, 2024, Chained⁢ together ⁣quickly gained popularity, peaking at 94,480 concurrent players within days of⁢ launch. ⁣The game ⁢challenges players to navigate difficult‌ terrain while physically linked to ⁤one another, demanding precise coordination and interaction. Its blend ⁣of annoyance and elation has resonated wiht players⁣ seeking⁢ a distinctive multiplayer experiance,drawing⁤ comparisons to other popular indie titles like Only Up.

The‍ film adaptation will be directed by Cory Todd Hughes and ⁣Adrian Speckert, who currently have four projects in progress,​ including a movie based on the ⁣indie horror game Finding Frankie. ⁢While details regarding‌ the story and cast remain undisclosed, the project is currently in its early stages.
