piriform has released CCleaner 7, a significant update to its widely-used windows system optimization tool. The release introduces a modernized design, performance improvements, and several new features aimed at streamlining system maintainance. The update was first reported by PC-Welt.
Key improvements in CCleaner 7
The most promptly noticeable change is a completely reworked user interface. Piriform states the new interface is designed to be more responsive and intuitive. Users now have the option to select between light, dark, and automatic themes. Moreover,CCleaner 7 now offers full support for ARM64 devices.
Enhanced Uninstall Functionality
the uninstall feature has been rebuilt to allow users to remove multiple applications simultaneously,eliminating the need for individual confirmations.CCleaner 7 also automatically removes leftover files after uninstallations.A new temporary uninstall feature allows users to test system stability after removing an submission, with the option to easily restore it if needed.
Improved Disk Analyzer
The Disk analyzer tool has been updated to display thumbnails for images, making it easier to visually identify and manage files. The tool also simplifies the process of finding and managing duplicate files, allowing users to choose to keep the newest versions or permanently delete unneeded copies.
