Coggiola, Italy – On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the Sanctuary of the Cavaller in Coggiola will host its annual party honoring Madonna delle Nevi. the event promises a day steeped in spirituality, nature, adn community, organized by the Friends of Cavaller association in partnership with the Alpine group of Coggiola, the Cesare Rinaldo choral group, and the “La Zattera” association.
The day’s festivities commence at 10:30 AM with the opening of the sanctuary, granting visitors access to the eremite rooms and a photographic exhibition curated by Francesco Taurisano. Concurrently, at 10:30 AM, attendees can participate in a “Yoga at the Sanctuary” session led by master Rainer, offering a tranquil start to the day.
Throughout the morning, the Cavaller Library will feature activities for children, organized by the “La Zattera” association. At 12:00 PM,the community will gather in Piazza Ponte for a shared picnic,encouraging participants to bring dishes to contribute to the communal meal.
The afternoon’s program begins at 2:15 PM at the Church of Zuccaro, marking the start of the traditional procession to the sanctuary, coordinated by the Alpini Group. The procession is expected to reach the sanctuary around 3:40 PM.
The day’s spiritual culmination will be the Holy Mass, sung at 4:00 PM and animated by the cesare Rinaldo choral group. This celebration offers a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the Cavaller Sanctuary and engage in a day of reflection, fellowship, and appreciation for the natural surroundings.
