Kvapil to Return to JR Motorsports for 2026 NASCAR Title Run
JR Motorsports will retain driver Corey kvapil for the 2026 NASCAR season, giving him another opportunity to compete for a championship after a strong rookie campaign. Despite appearing to be sidelined by recent driver announcements, Kvapil’s additional starts will come with his current team.
Kvapil reached the championship round in 2025 without securing a race win,demonstrating his consistency and potential. The team’s decision ensures he will have a chance to build on that momentum. While Rajah Caruth has been confirmed for a part-time role in the No. 88 car, Kvapil remains a possibility for that ride, as well as the No. 9 car.
The 2026 season is slated to begin at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, February 14, with the United Rentals 300 broadcast live on The CW Network.
