Brazilian consumers are finding significant discounts on electronics this week, with the iPhone 16 currently available for R$4,299, a reduction of R$2,500 from its original price, according to multiple retailers.

The promotional price for the 128GB iPhone 16, offered in both white and black, is being highlighted by several online marketplaces, including Mercado Livre and UOL’s Guia de Compras. The price represents a 37% discount from the original R$6,799, and is also available with installment options of up to 12 payments of R$398.12 without interest, totaling R$4,776.67.

The iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch OLED display, a dual-camera system with 48MP and 24MP sensors, and a 12MP front-facing camera. It also incorporates Apple’s latest AI capabilities through the Apple Intelligence system. According to jogosmobilebr.com.br, the device is equipped with the A18 chip, offering improved performance over the previous generation’s A16 Bionic.

Beyond the iPhone 16, other tech products are also on sale. The JBL Quantum 100M2 wired gaming headset is available for R$179, down from R$219, representing an 18% discount. Apple’s AirTag is being offered for R$309.90 per unit.

Discounts extend beyond electronics to include household items. Mondial’s Popflix popcorn maker is priced at R$143.91, whereas Finish Advanced dishwasher detergent (2.5kg) is available for R$99.90. A two-pack of Maccari&Caporici feather-touch pillows is being sold for R$64.07.

Additional offers include Cetaphil’s sensitive skin body lotion kit (two-pack) for R$151.90, Calvin Klein CK Be perfume (50ml) for R$197.91, and the Siàge Eudora Hair-Plastia mini kit for R$47.50.

The sales event follows the Carnival holiday, often referred to as the “first working week of the year” in Brazil, and is being positioned as a key opportunity for consumers to purchase electronics and other goods at reduced prices.
