The rapper revealed the claims during a recent conversation with fans on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, September 22nd, while also confirming her pregnancy with NFL player Stefon Diggs.
The dispute centers around financial and property demands that Cardi B characterizes as attempts to “hold [her] hostage.” Filed for divorce last August following allegations of infidelity,the case has progressed to a point where Offset is reportedly seeking spousal support and joint custody of their children,with a preference for their primary residence to remain Cardi B’s home. These new allegations add a layer of complexity to the already contentious proceedings and could significantly impact the final divorce decree.
“The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes-even though I pay for my own-and give them one of my properties,” Cardi B stated on X Spaces. “I’m gonna fight for that. This is not no love sht.And I’m not gonna stop living my life becuase on a contract, I’m practically still married. because somebody want to hold me hostage if I don’t give them millions of dollars to get out of it.”
