Long-Awaited Victory for Cañuelas

After more than three months without ​a win in the Second Division, Cañuelas finally celebrated a triumph on Saturday⁢ at Santa Cruz and Pellegrini. The team overcame San Miguel wiht a final ⁣score‍ of 23-14, marking their first victory ‌after ten consecutive losses.

the team demonstrated strength across all positions, breaking‍ a spell that had ⁢lingered since their last ⁤win on June 14th against La Salle, 15-13. This win keeps Cañuelas firmly in contention to avoid the⁢ last position ⁤in the league​ and ⁢the subsequent “promotion” playoff against a team from the Third Division ⁢-⁤ a position they currently hold as the antepenultimate team.
