Elderly Woman Found Dead in Bucks County Home, Police investigate homicide

Police are actively investigating the homicide of an 89-year-old woman in bucks County, Pennsylvania. Anne Turner was discovered deceased in her residence on Thursday,July 10,2025,at approximately 7:20 p.m. The home is located on the 2500 block of Rickert Road in Hilltown Township.

While details remain limited, authorities have confirmed that Ms. Turner, who lived alone, was shot to death. Investigators believe the fatal incident occurred during the afternoon of July 10, prior to a friend finding her body that evening. As of now, police report having few leads in the case.

Hilltown Township Police chief Christopher Engelhart reassured the public, stating, “We don’t believe there’s any general threat to the public but we believe this is not a random act.And so we don’t want anybody to be fearful that this is somebody out stalking the neighborhood.” He added, “This is still very active and this could go any direction.”
