Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Album & “Risk It All” Video Are Here

February 27, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Bruno Mars released his first full-length solo album in a decade, The Romantic, on Friday, accompanied by a music video for the track “Risk It All.” The visual, directed by Mars alongside Daniel Ramos, depicts a traditional wedding and domestic life, featuring Mars leading a mariachi band.

The release follows the January debut of the music video for The Romantic’s lead single, “I Just Might.” Mars recently performed “I Just Might” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards last month, appearing in a romantic red ensemble on a stage designed as a giant heart. His performance at the Grammys marked his first solo appearance at the awards in eight years, according to reports from the event.

The Romantic arrives seven years after Mars’ previous solo album, 2016’s 24K Magic. Prior to this, Mars collaborated with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic, releasing An Evening with Silk Sonic in 2021. The Silk Sonic track “Leave the Door Open” earned Mars and .Paak both Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Mars performed “I Just Might” and also appeared alongside ROSÉ to perform their collaborative song “APT.” “APT” was nominated for three awards at the 2026 Grammys: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter were observed enjoying Mars’ performance during the ceremony.

The release of The Romantic was preceded by a record-breaking ticket sale for Mars’ upcoming “The Romantic Tour,” which moved 2.1 million tickets on its first day, breaking Ticketmaster’s single-day sales record. The tour is currently sold out, though resale tickets remain available.
