Boston College Women’s Golf: Quinnipiac Classic Preview

Eagles Ready for Quinnipiac Classic Monday

WALLINGFORD, Conn. – the Boston College women’s golf team will⁣ resume⁣ tournament ⁢play Monday ⁢at the Quinnipiac ​Classic, hosted at The Farms Country Club. Coming ⁢off a dramatic, come-from-behind victory at the Red Bandanna Invitational, the‍ Eagles aim to continue​ their strong start to the fall season.

Boston‍ College recently edged Dartmouth by one stroke at the ​Red Bandanna Invitational, fueled‍ by a strong performance that saw three team members and two individual competitors finish in the top 10. The Quinnipiac Classic presents another opportunity for the team to build momentum and refine their game against a competitive field.

The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes⁢ on Monday in a shotgun​ start, followed ‍by ‌the final 18 holes⁢ on Tuesday.Boston College will tee off alongside Fairfield and Quinnipiac, beginning at 9:00‌ a.m. from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ‍and 4th holes.

The Farms Country ​Club, designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish and ​opened in 1961, will challenge golfers​ with its 6,069​ yards ‍and par-72 ⁤layout. The course features ‍wide fairways, well-maintained greens, and strategic hazards‌ including⁢ water and sand bunkers.

Participating teams include Boston College, Bryant, Fairfield, Harvard, Lehigh, Monmouth, New Haven, Providence, quinnipiac, and Sacred Heart.
