Eagles Ready for Quinnipiac Classic Monday
WALLINGFORD, Conn. – the Boston College women’s golf team will resume tournament play Monday at the Quinnipiac Classic, hosted at The Farms Country Club. Coming off a dramatic, come-from-behind victory at the Red Bandanna Invitational, the Eagles aim to continue their strong start to the fall season.
Boston College recently edged Dartmouth by one stroke at the Red Bandanna Invitational, fueled by a strong performance that saw three team members and two individual competitors finish in the top 10. The Quinnipiac Classic presents another opportunity for the team to build momentum and refine their game against a competitive field.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes on Monday in a shotgun start, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.Boston College will tee off alongside Fairfield and Quinnipiac, beginning at 9:00 a.m. from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th holes.
The Farms Country Club, designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish and opened in 1961, will challenge golfers with its 6,069 yards and par-72 layout. The course features wide fairways, well-maintained greens, and strategic hazards including water and sand bunkers.
Participating teams include Boston College, Bryant, Fairfield, Harvard, Lehigh, Monmouth, New Haven, Providence, quinnipiac, and Sacred Heart.
