Borderlands 4 to Add Robot Vault Hunter C4SH in Early 2026
Gearbox Software has revealed C4SH, a new robot Vault Hunter, will join the cast of Borderlands 4 in the first quarter of 2026. The announcement, accompanied by a trailer, introduces a character with a unique backstory and skillset poised to shake up the franchise’s gameplay.
C4SH previously worked as a casino dealer bot and is now on a quest for lost artifacts in the desert. His design incorporates elements reminiscent of both Gaige The Mechromancer and FL4K, suggesting a versatile playstyle. like other Vault Hunters, C4SH will feature three selectable action skills, potentially utilizing pistols, tarot decks, dice, and talismans as seen in promotional materials.
According to the official description, C4SH’s abilities focus on manipulating probability, hinting at gameplay mechanics centered around chance and risk. Players who purchase the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition or Vault Hunting Package will automatically receive C4SH with the launch of the “Mad Ellie and Vault of the Damned” story package.
