Bolívar‘s Comprehensive Welfare initiative Benefits Over 315 Residents
Caracas,Venezuela – A comprehensive social welfare initiative,dubbed “For Love of Bolívar,” recently benefited over 315 residents in the Bolívar state,providing access to food,health services,and essential supplies. The program, supported by President Nicolás Maduro and spearheaded by governor Yulisbeth García, aimed to improve the quality of life for workers and their families.
The initiative, carried out in Chirica and Los Pinos, within the Caroní municipality, included the sale of food staples, fresh produce, proteins, and other basic goods.Additionally, medications such as deworming tablets, antibiotic creams, and women’s health pills, along with folic acid, vitamins, analgesics, and anti-allergy medications were distributed.
The National Institute of Nutrition (INN) participated, offering general health services alongside the Terrestrial Transit Institute, which provided licence issuance and renewal, as well as Certificate of knowledge and Origin Plate assignments. Representatives from the Somos Venezuela movement were also present, offering guidance and facts regarding the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).
Governor García expressed gratitude to President Maduro for providing the resources necessary to support the well-being of the population, emphasizing the importance of extending these benefits to public workers and their families. She stated, ”Love with love is paid. here the Bolivarian government is protecting our people,Bolivarian families in the territory,with quality,love and for free. We are people of facts, who walk under the protection of god that resolves by and for the welfare of the families of the Bolivar state.”
Comprehensive medical attention was provided to children, youth, and adults as part of the initiative.
