Bluey Arrives at Disneyland: A New Live Show & Playful Experience

The animated world of “Bluey” officially bounded into Disneyland Resort on Sunday, March 22, 2026, with the debut of “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the Fantasyland Theatre. The new experience brings the beloved Australian Blue Heeler puppy and her sister, Bingo, to life for the first time at a Disney park, featuring live performances, themed food and exclusive merchandise.

The launch coincides with the Disneyland Resort’s 70th Celebration, honoring seven decades of the theme park. “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” transforms the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school, complete with a redesigned entryway referencing the animated series, according to Disney officials.

Two unique rotating shows feature Bluey and Bingo on stage alongside a troupe of comedic performers and musicians. The performances aim to capture the humor and heart of the critically acclaimed series, encouraging audience participation through interactive games like “Keepy Uppy,” and dance-alongs. Disneyland’s live entertainment team, led by Susana Tubert, sought to translate the display’s appeal to a live setting.

“We try to hit the humor, the play — shared play — and some of the more profound experiences that these characters go through,” Tubert said, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. “At the end of the second show, you’ll see a moment that is really quite beautiful. It’s a tribute to sisterhood, and how these two characters of Bluey and Bingo connect with one another.”

The experience extends beyond the stage, with pop-up installations designed for exploration and photo opportunities, including a miniature gnome village and fairy garden. A walk-up food window offers themed treats, such as pizza-inspired baked potatoes and a chocolate pretzel resembling an asparagus wand. Guests can also participate in “barky boats” races, a nod to a game featured in the show, utilizing wooden blocks on a painted track.

Merchandise celebrating the arrival of “Bluey” is available at Elias & Co. In Disney California Adventure Park and World of Disney in Downtown Disney District, and at Fantasyland Theatre Valet in Disneyland Park. Offerings include youth apparel and a collectible pin.

Disney’s collaboration with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio, the producers of “Bluey,” facilitated the integration of the series into Disney Experiences. “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is currently scheduled to run throughout the spring and summer seasons, with showtimes in the late morning and early afternoons.
