Blueface is once again permitted to enter teh Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas, a judge ruled on Wednesday (October 8). The lifting of the ban stems from a 2022 shooting incident outside a gentlemen’s club, but restricts the rapper’s presence to work-related activities only.
The change in restrictions comes as Blueface is currently incarcerated in California State Prison, serving a four-year sentence for a separate probation violation. While the removal of the Las Vegas ban doesn’t promptly impact his confinement,it possibly opens doors for professional opportunities in the city upon his parole eligibility in December. In October 2022, Blueface was initially charged with attempted murder after a shooting outside Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club near the Las Vegas Strip. He later accepted a plea deal, reducing the charges to battery and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure. Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney subsequently sentenced him to up to three years of probation, with a suspended two-to-five-year prison sentence.
Prior to the lifting of the ban, Blueface was ordered in January to pay $13 million in damages to the owner of the now-closed Euphoric gentlemen’s Club.
The current four-year sentence Blueface is serving is related to a 2021 assault case and a subsequent probation violation. His attorney has been contacted for comment.
