Blueface Forgives NLE Choppa After Apology for Son’s Disrespectful Comments

Rapper NLE Choppa issued a public apology to Blueface on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, after making disparaging remarks about his son, Chrisean Jr., escalating a long-running feud between the two artists. The apology, posted to Choppa’s Instagram Stories, came after a video circulated online in which he suggested a comparison between their children.

Choppa’s initial comments followed Blueface’s challenge for a boxing match. Instead of accepting, Choppa proposed a contest between their sons, stating, “Seize your son and stand him beside my son and let’s see which one of them motherf**kers know how to operate. Put your son beside my son and let’s see them box, n**ga!” According to reports, Choppa also incorrectly claimed Blueface faced financial obligations exceeding $100,000 to Soulja Boy’s child’s mother and incorrectly stated a $13 million judgment against Blueface in a separate case as $23 million.

Blueface responded to the apology via X, formerly known as Twitter, stating, “That n**ga apologized so quick. I forgive you, lil’ bro, now move around. You know better.” However, he also hinted at a continued desire for a physical confrontation, adding in a separate post, “But I still need that, tho, [on the dead homies].”

The exchange marks the latest chapter in a years-long dispute between the two rappers, which began with diss tracks targeting each other’s families. In September 2025, Blueface responded to NLE Choppa’s release of “Shotta Flow 8” with a series of Instagram posts, according to reports. Choppa had previously proposed a celebrity boxing match between the two in 2024, following Blueface’s mention of him on a remix.

Prior to accepting Choppa’s apology, Blueface jokingly suggested his oldest son, Javaughn, could participate in a fight between the children, stating, “One can fight at your mama house. F**k it, you want the kids to fight? My son will whoop your son’s a**.”

The initial catalyst for the recent escalation appears to be Blueface’s response to Choppa’s latest track. Blueface’s Instagram post following the release of “Shotta Flow 8” contained a blunt caption, though the specific wording was not detailed in available reports.
