A new episode of the webtoon series “Brunch,” titled “02화 새까만 공백의 거리” (Episode 2: The Black Void Street), was released today by Nate, according to reports from multiple South Korean news outlets.

The release follows the debut of the series and is part of a broader trend of webtoons being adapted into other media. Moka Sphere, a virtual influencer group known as Michu, is as well leveraging its intellectual property with the release of a hack-and-slash game, “마지막 슬라이드는 네 몫이야” (The Last Slide is Yours), on Steam. This game launch was reported by Inven.

News coverage of the gaming and webtoon industries comes amid broader developments in the technology sector. Recent reports detail the passing of Hideki Sato, often referred to as the “father of Sega hardware,” as reported by Inven. Discussions surrounding Apple’s gaming capabilities and the release of Diablo II’s “악마술사” (Demon Sorcerer) class after 25 years have also garnered attention, as covered by various Korean news sources including Asia Economy and Nate.

The release of “Brunch’s” second episode coincides with increased interest in leisure activities, particularly brunch, in the Gwanggyo Cafe Street area of Suwon, South Korea. A recent blog post highlighted five brunch locations in the area, emphasizing the unique atmosphere and menu offerings of establishments like Apron, The Lakeview, Grandma’s Gwanggyo, Cafe Maven Gwanggyo, and Four Seasons Kitchen Gwanggyo. The blog post, published in May 2025, suggests a growing demand for curated dining experiences in the region.

The news regarding the Diablo franchise includes the upcoming release of “Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred” on April 28th, featuring the addition of the Demon Sorcerer and Paladin classes, as reported by Disisgame. Blizzard’s updates to the Diablo series, including a 30th-anniversary spotlight and the unveiling of the new Demon Sorcerer class, have generated excitement among players, according to reports from Headline and Opinion.

Further developments in the gaming world include the release of “Akatori,” a demo of a new game with a Hollow Knight-inspired aesthetic, and the launch of “Samson,” a new game from the developers of Just Cause, which features a living, breathing city, as reported by Game Mec.
