The championship featured 421 judokas from 41 countries. Coulibaly secured a victory against Portuguese competitor Ferreira in the first round. Though, he was defeated by Serbian Radekovik in the second round, ending his chance for further advancement in the competition.

despite the loss, Coulibaly’s participation in the Cadet European Championship marks a significant step in his Judo career. As he transitions to the cadet category next season, there is considerable potential for improvement. Coulibaly has also been selected to represent Spain at the Olympic European Youth Festival, scheduled to take place from july 20 to 26 in Skopje. this selection highlights his talent and dedication to the sport.
