AMES, Iowa – the Iowa State cyclones menS basketball team’s full 2025-26 big 12 schedule was released today, featuring a challenging slate of conference matchups culminating in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Missouri. The Cyclones are set too face a mix of familiar rivals and new opponents as the Big 12 continues to evolve.
The schedule includes 18 conference games, beginning with a home contest against West Virginia on January 2. Iowa State will then travel to Baylor on January 7 before returning home to host Oklahoma State on January 10. A tough road trip follows, with games at kansas on January 13 and Cincinnati on January 17. The month of january concludes with home games against UCF on january 20 and Colorado on January 29, bookended by a road game at oklahoma State on January 24.
February sees the Cyclones begin with a trip to Kansas State on February 1, followed by a home game against Baylor on February 7 and a road contest at TCU on February 10. Hilton Coliseum will host key matchups against Kansas on February 14 and Houston on February 16, the latter being featured on ESPN’s Big Monday. A western swing includes games at BYU on February 21 and Utah on February 24 – marking the first time the Cyclones will play at Utah. The Cyclones return home to face Texas Tech on February 28 before traveling to Arizona on March 2 and hosting Arizona State for Senior Day on march 7.
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship will be held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.from March 10-14.
Season tickets are available for purchase, with a public on-sale date for single-game tickets set for October 16.
