Ioan Gruffudd and bianca wallace Mark Daughter’s Birth with Unique Keepsakes
Actors Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Wallace welcomed their first child together,daughter Mila,in early November. The couple, who publicly revealed their relationship in October 2021, became engaged in January 2024 and married in a private ceremony this year before announcing their pregnancy.
Rather than traditional baby photos,the couple chose to commemorate Mila’s arrival with personalized mementos created by Mommy Me Encapsulation,a service favored by other celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens and Megan Fox. Wallace opted to preserve her daughter’s umbilical cord and create a placenta print,transforming biological remnants into lasting artwork.
Wallace had the umbilical cord dried into a heart shape and then coated in gold chrome. Additionally,she commissioned a “Tree of Life” image created from a placenta print,made by stamping the organ onto a poster with food-safe paint. These unique keepsakes come at a cost: a placenta print from Mommy me Encapsulation is priced at $500, while the umbilical cord preservation costs $65.
Gruffudd is also father to daughters Ella and Elsie from his previous marriage to Alice Evans, from whom he finalized a divorce over two years ago.
