Betano has substantially expanded its football sponsorship portfolio, securing prominent partnerships across Europe and South America.
In Portugal’s Primeira Liga, the betting operator holds front-of-shirt rights for Sporting CP, a deal in place as 2021. Betano also features on the sleeve of Benfica‘s kit through the 2026-27 season. Moreover,Betano is the primary front-of-shirt sponsor for FC Porto,the 30-time league champions and current holders of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira,with this agreement extending through the 2025-26 campaign.
Beyond Portugal, Betano has established a strong presence in South American football. The company recently became the shirt sponsor for Argentinian club River Plate. This move complements existing title sponsorship deals for the top-tier leagues in Argentina and Brazil.
Recent months have seen Betano announce several key football sponsorships to bolster its brand visibility. In early July, the company partnered with German giants Bayern Munich. This was followed by a league-wide agreement with Denmark’s top-flight Superliga.
The betting firm has also secured partnerships with major international competitions.Betano was the FIFA Club world Cup’s first-ever betting partner in 2022 and has also sponsored the Copa America Femenina.
