Benson Boone Honored by Golden State Warriors During Sold-Out Chase Center Show
SAN FRANCISCO – Pop sensation Benson boone received a hometown-style tribute from the Golden State Warriors during his “American Heart” tour stop at a sold-out Chase Center this week. The 23-year-old singer was surprised with a custom blue-and-gold Warriors jumpsuit presented by arena staff to commemorate his debut performance at the venue.
The unique outfit, designed in Dallas and produced in collaboration with Chase Center, was unveiled onstage by Boone’s best friend, McLean Long, who modeled the jumpsuit before the singer revealed a surprise cover of Stephen sanchez’s “Untill I Found You.” The concert marked a milestone in a breakout year for Boone, who is currently touring in support of his sophomore album, “American Heart,” released in June.
Boone’s performance included a 90-minute set featuring both soaring ballads like “In the Stars” and his latest hit, “Mystical Magical,” alongside his signature high-energy backflips. The success of “american Heart” and particularly his smash single “beautiful Things” – streamed over 2 billion times – has fueled speculation about potential multiple Grammy nominations next year, despite being overlooked at this year’s awards ceremony.
