Tigers Claim Victory Over Bulldogs Amidst On-Field Tension

Wests Tigers secured a important 24-12 win against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at CommBank Stadium in Sydney on Sunday, August 4, 2025, but the match was also marked by a heated exchange between Tigers five-eighth Jarome Luai and former teammate Lachlan galvin.

Luai addressed the incident, wich saw him standing over Galvin during the first half, stating, “That’s footy bro, I’m a competitor and it doesn’t realy matter who is on the other side.” He further clarified his mindset, adding, “There is brothers and opposition, so that’s how I see it.”

Despite the on-field confrontation, Luai and Galvin shared a warm embrace following the final whistle. When pressed for details about their conversation, luai declined to comment, simply saying, “No I’m good.”
