Bengaluru Hit-and-Run: Actress Divya Suresh Linked to Accident

Bengaluru police ‌have identified Kannada actress Divya Suresh as the alleged driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that injured three people in‌ Byatarayanapura on October ⁤4, 2025. Authorities stated Friday that the vehicle involved belonged to Ms.​ Suresh and CCTV footage suggests ​she was operating it at the time⁢ of the collision.

The incident ⁢occurred in ​the early hours of October 4⁤ when a motorcycle ridden by‍ Kiran G. and ​his cousins, Anusha and Anitha, was allegedly struck by a⁣ speeding black ‍car. The car instantly left the scene. While Kiran (25) and Anusha (24) sustained minor injuries, Anitha (33) suffered a broken leg requiring surgery and was admitted to BGS Hospital.This case highlights the ongoing concerns surrounding road safety and‍ accountability for drivers involved‌ in accidents within⁤ the city.

A case‌ was initially registered on October 7 under Sections 281 (rash driving or riding on⁣ a ‍public way) ​and 125(a) (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along ⁢with relevant sections of ​the Motor ⁣Vehicles Act, based on a complaint filed by Kiran G.

Police confirmed that the examination‍ is ongoing. ​Ms. Suresh has not ‌yet publicly commented on​ the allegations.
