Bencina Price: Check whether, the value of fuels is raised or maintained this Thursday, July 31

Fuel Prices Hold Steady for Key Octane Grades

National Petroleum Company Releases Weekly Price Report

Motorists in Chile can expect no immediate changes to the price of 93 and 97 octane gasoline this week. The National Petroleum Company (Enap) announced its latest weekly fuel price report, confirming a zero-variation for these popular fuel types.

Mixed Bag for Fuel Costs

Enap’s report, published Wednesday, July 30, 2025, indicates that while premium gasoline prices remain stable, other fuel types are set to experience adjustments effective Thursday, July 31. Specifically, kerosene, also known as paraffin, will see a decrease of 12.6 pesos per liter.

The price for diesel and vehicular liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will also remain unchanged, mirroring the stability seen in the higher-octane gasoline grades.

Gasoline Price Cycle Continues

The lack of movement in 93 and 97 octane gasoline prices follows a similar pattern from the previous week. These fuel types undergo price adjustments every three weeks. Consequently, the next potential change for these gasoline grades is anticipated on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Enap Clarifies Pricing Role

In its official statement, the state-owned company emphasized its position within the market. Enap clarified that it does not set or regulate fuel prices in Chile. The company stressed that its weekly reports are based on complex calculations.

“ENAP does not set or regulate fuel prices in the Chilean market. Consequently, this report cannot, in any case, be considered that ENAP determines, fixes or defines references or values for final consumer prices, which are free given the status of open and competitive market.”

The company explained that its price estimations incorporate factors such as import costs from reference markets and other associated expenses. According to the International Energy Agency, global oil prices saw a modest increase of 1.5% in June 2025, influenced by geopolitical tensions, though retail fuel prices can also be affected by domestic taxes and distribution costs.

Consumers can look forward to Enap’s next report to understand any further potential shifts in fuel pricing.
