Four individuals are facing murder charges following the fatal stabbing of a man in a regional park on the NSW South Coast. Police have arrested and charged the quartet in connection with the death, wich occurred at a park in bega.
The examination, dubbed Strike Force Raptor, has focused on the Glebe Wetlands and surrounding areas, with detectives and NSW State Emergency Service volunteers conducting searches for evidence. Items of interest were recovered from a property and are undergoing forensic analysis, alongside a knife, electronic devices, and two vehicles previously seized by investigators.
Police allege a 34-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man, and two 18-year-old men were involved in the stabbing. All four accused are scheduled to appear at Bail Division Court 3 on charges of murder and causing wounding or grievous bodily harm with intent to murder. The woman and the 32-year-old man face additional charges of possessing an unauthorised firearm.
The incident prompted a large-scale police response, including extensive searches of the Glebe Wetlands. Investigations remain ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and piece together the events leading to the man’s death.
